Seaglass Pinot Noir - Wine Review

I am always on the lookout for wines that I can add to my list of lifetime favorites, and when I saw this 2017 Seaglass Santa Barbara Pinot Noir, I had a feeling I was about to make another addition to that list. The beautiful sea glass artwork on the bottle was enough to intrigue me, but after tasting this wine, I know that the design of the label is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to how elegantly excellent this wine is.

Swirling this wine around the glass, you can see ruby red dancing through an otherwise muted, slightly brown red. It hits the nose with the classic Pinot Noir tartness, which mixes well with a pleasant level of sweetness. It reminds me of a mix of cherries and whiskey. The taste is just as intriguing as the scent, it’s fruity and sweet, with just enough burn to keep it interesting. It ages into a dry red wine on the tongue.

I love finding wine that I can drink over and over again, and always be pleased but still excited by it, and this wine definitely fits that description. I have already bought a second bottle, and I fully intend to drink this wine for a very long time.
