California Roots - Wines Review

When I saw that Target was carrying California Roots, a brand that offers bottles for $5, I knew that I couldn’t pass up that opportunity. I selected a bottle of Pinot Grigio and a Rosé, and after tasting both, I am definitely excited to try more from California Roots.

The Rosé was exceptionally light in color, almost like rose gold. The bouquet was quite refreshing, with hints of floral and citrus notes. It was tangy in taste, and also pleasantly mild, leaving a sweet berry taste behind. It was absolutely perfect for a $5 wine.

The Pinot Grigio was equally delicious for such an enticing price. The color was a very bright yellow, falling somewhere between honey and star bright. With a sweet honey and melon scent, and an exceptionally sweet yet still tangy flavor, this Pinot Grigio has ended up on my list of favorite bargain wines.
