Eleven Australia was the first brand I found worked for me when I decided to dive into the world of hair care, to really take care of my hair. The biggest concern for me was finding products that were packed with natural ingredients, but were still free of the ingredients on my allergy list. Unfortunately, a lot of the hair care products that I started looking into use many types of nuts, as well as the fruits and veggies that I am allergic to, so my search for a safe product took a while, but that only made it even more delightful when I found that Eleven has products that are safe for me to use. I have tested out several of their products at this point, but for the duration of this post, I will be speaking exclusively about the Smooth Me Now and Hydrate My Hair options for shampoo and conditioner.

The Smooth Me Now shampoo and conditioner were the first products I tried from Eleven, because with the curly hair that I have, frizz is often an issue, and I wanted something that would help combat the frizz without flattening my hair. The Smooth Me Now products have done exactly that, and have given me the confidence to wear my hair down, instead of up in a bun or ponytail, which has been my norm for many years now. Before using Eleven, I didn’t fully realize that products can make a difference for how your hair looks and feels, because up until finding this brand, I had only been using cheap drugstore brand options, which really didn’t help my hair at all.

I decided to try out the Hydrate My Hair line after a friend of mine who knows hair care really well told me that hydration is really the key to keeping curly hair healthy. In the same vein of how I rediscovered how great hair care can be with the Smooth Me Now products, the Hydrate My Hair products have shown me how healthy and happy my hair can be.

Now, I like to combine these two lines with a shampoo and conditioner from each one, and I change it up depending on how my hair is doing. I have also explored other products from the Eleven Australia line, which I look forward to sharing with you all in a future post.
