Laneige Gummy Bear Lip Sleeping Mask - Skincare Review

I have loved the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask in the original berry flavor for quite a while now, ever since a friend of mine recommended it to me. Prior to the gummy bear flavor, I hadn’t ventured into any of the other varieties of the mask, but when I saw the gummy bear variety, with the purple packaging and oh so sweet flavor profile, I decided to take a chance and try it out. I am so glad that I gave it that chance.

The purple color of the package and of the mask itself was enough to make me fall in love with it. The flavor is barely noticeable, just like the original flavor, but the smell is absolutely delicious. It reminds me of a mix of artificial grape flavoring and cotton candy. While I still use the original, and plan to for a very long time, I enjoy using the gummy bear flavor to bring a little joy into my skincare routine. It reminds me of my childhood, and of warm summer days.

I understand sticking with what you know and love when it comes to skincare, most of the items on my shelf are things I have been relying on for quite some time. However, if you are like me, and you were unsure at first about trying a new flavor in this classic lip mask, you should definitely give the gummy bear variety a chance.
