Pond's Dry Skin Cream - Skincare Review

Pond's Dry Skin Cream - Skincare Review

I purchased Pond’s Dry Skin Cream because I had run out of my usual night cream, and I had to wait a few weeks until I could get it again, so I needed something to cover those couple of weeks. I did not expect that this Pond’s cream would become the staple in my skincare routine that it has turned into. I am still using my usual night cream as well (I switch between the two on a somewhat irregular basis), but Pond’s Dry Skin Cream has worked its way into being an absolutely vital part of my routine.

To start off with, the scent is quite bold, and very unique. I haven’t quite been able to place the scent, even after using this cream for several months now. It’s rather floral, and even though I can’t say exactly what it is, it is very soothing, and it helps me to feel ready for bed.

The texture is one of the thickest I have ever experienced in a night cream. When it’s in the container, it looks like fluffy clouds, and it goes on both heavily but also very smoothly, so that I get the benefit and comfort of a thick night cream, without losing any of it to my pillowcase.

I have relatively normal skin when it comes to dry versus oily, so that generally isn’t something I have to worry about, but I do have quite temperamental skin when it comes to stress breakouts. Life has been really busy lately, and my skin has been struggling to cope with a lack of sleep and a lot going on, and this cream has been a real balm on those nights when it’s been a long day, and I just need to give my skin a chance to reset and relax.

Overall, if you’re looking for a night cream that will work like a $40 cream, for less than $10 (depending on where you buy it), the Pond’s Dry Skin Cream is absolutely amazing. It might not work for your skin in the same way that it has worked for mine, but from my perspective, this cream is an absolute dream, and I am now planning on using it for years to come.
