Chicken Soup for the Tea Lover's Soul - Book Review
I have been reading the ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul’ series of heartwarming stories for a long time now, and whenever I open their pages I find words of wisdom, hope, and joy, but when I found ‘Chicken Soup for the Tea Lover’s Soul’ I knew I had found my absolute favorite book of the entire series. Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, Patricia Lorenz, and the number of contributors who have all worked to create this book have made a literary legacy of sorts, a book that will stand the test of time and always bring comfort to anyone who reads it, but especially those who hold in their hearts a strong fondness for tea.
The stories in this book range from funny, to endearing, to absolutely heartbreaking. There is truly something in this book for everyone, and every time I read through it, or scroll down the table of contents looking for a quick read, I find something new. I have a few favorite stories that I love to read before bedtime, or when I am feeling particularly stressed, but I also love flipping to a random point in the book and reading something that, even if I read it years ago, I can read it now and have a completely different experience because I am looking at it from a different point in my life. Of the intense amount of books on my kindle. if you could see a ranking of which ones I read the most, this one would probably fall in the top five.
If you haven’t had the pleasure of reading the ‘Chicken Soup for the Soul’ books yet, I would recommend starting with this one, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them. ‘Chicken Soup for the Tea Lover’s Soul’ will be a book that I am reading forever, constantly finding new meaning within the pages, and always leaning into the peace that comes with reading these remarkable stories.
