I purchased this Beaulieu Vineyard Coastal Estates 2017 Cabernet Sauvigon on a whim and I am so glad that I decided to pick it out. At first glance, this wine is a deep, bold red with flashes of light dancing through. It has a rich bouquet, slightly musty and oaky, with a slight burn. The flavor is smooth, a delightful combination of fruity and sweet, with a bit of a tinge to it. Overall, it is strong and smooth, hovering on the intense end of the Cabernet spectrum. It would be perfect for a rich meal. It maintains an ideal balance between bold and smooth, I will definitely be purchasing it again.
