The Dreaming Tree Wines are, pardon the pun, absolutely dreamy. The first time I saw the bottle artwork in the wine shop, I knew I had to try this wine before I even knew what it was. The wine is absolutely delicious, I have enjoyed every bottle of it I’ve had in the past few years, but one of the main reasons I keep coming back to The Dreaming Tree is the beautifully designed tree on the label. The artwork is elegant and refined, but the closer you look at it, the more you notice little details that make it absolutely exquisite. The same could be said for the wine, it is an unassuming brand which always leaves me satisfied.

This 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep, purple-ish red with hints of a bright raspberry red around the edge. It has strong legs, and an intense punch of scent, which is a mix of berries, an earthy quality, and a pleasant spice. In drinking this wine, it is smooth at first, then almost instantly dry. It is quite sweet, like rich fruit, and it is quite heady.

This wine is very rich for a Cab, it reminds me of many strong Merlots that I have tried. It would be exquisite with a piece of rich chocolate cake. It is one of the richest, fruitiest wines I have ever had, it is a dream come true.
