Lavazza Gran Selezione Dark Roast - Coffee Review

Lavazza Gran Selezione Dark Roast - Coffee Review

The Lavazza Gran Selezione Dark Roast 100% Arabica coffee is one of my favorite coffees to brew at home. This coffee is dark and bold, but not bitter. It maintains a smooth flavor all the way through. I usually take my coffee with cream, but today I decided to have a few sips before adding the cream, to get a better feel for the coffee itself. I was a little bit hesitant to take that first sip, because usually when I have plain black coffee, it ends up leaving a bitter taste in my mouth, but from that first sip, I was pleasantly surprised by this roast. While drinking this coffee black was a bit more harsh for me than I am used to when compared to my usual creamy concoction, I found that even without cream, this roast was still rich and smooth, with a minimum amount of bite in it. If I ever find myself in the situation of needing to drink coffee without cream, I hope that this would be the coffee available.

As I sip my cup of coffee now, I have added cream and it is certainly more delicious to me, but I definitely think that however you enjoy your coffee, you will find something delightful in this roast. It is the perfect blend of both rich and velvety smooth texture and taste. To make this an even more satisfying cup of coffee, it is certified by the Rainforest Alliance, and Lavazza is deeply committed to sustainability practices. I am always happy to support companies that are working towards greater sustainability, so when I saw the Rainforest Alliance stamp of approval on this bag, it made this already amazing coffee even better. If you enjoy a good dark roast, and want to experience one of the richest coffees I have ever tasted, pick up a bag of Lavazza Gran Selezione, brew yourself a nice cup, and sit back to enjoy an amazing cup of coffee.
